THE BUSH TRAMWAY CLUB INC
The railway from Huntly to Glen Afton has been an integral part of the community
since being completed in 1923. For many years the railway was the only means of
transport for the locals with school trains to Huntly, and dance trains to the
social hall at Pukemiro Junction.
The Bush Tramway Club consists of a group of people from all walks of life who have
come together to rescue and preserve items of interest to the previously
neglected sphere of bush tramways and industrial railways in New Zealand.
